- At 48, my sweet, godly husband became ill with a rare protein disorder. Ten months after his first symptoms, and seven months after the birth of our fourth son, Keith went home to be with the Lord. I was 42 at the time. As I continue to homeschool our four boys and follow God in the life that Keith set up for us, I am constantly aware of God’s grace, providence and mercy.
